Municipal organic waste includes kitchen waste, living waste, fruit and vegetable waste, and organic sewage sludge, etc.

    The annual output of kitchen waste in China has reached 60 million tons. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 3 million tons of illegal cooking oil has returned to people's dining tables. The irregular disposal of organic waste seriously threatens the social development and the health of residents. Nowadays, the Chinese Government has announced bans on feeding pigs using kitchen waste.  

    With the further advancement of waste classification, 50-60% of the organic part will be treated separately from the municipal waste. China's organic waste will reach more than 100 million tons annually. The output of fruit and vegetable waste from vegetable bases, cold storage and supermarkets is about 100 million tons, and it needs environment-friendly treatment.
